You need to follow these simple steps for FSSAI Registration:
Firstly,
you need to fill in your business details in our FSSAI application form.
In that application, you would be asked to fill in the Full name registered in an official document, address, phone number, etc.
Now,
you’ll need to send us the required documents related to your business.
There are many essential documents including your personal documents and business documents that you will require to mail and also submit a hardcopy.
We will file your FSSAI Application and other declarations.
As per your submitting details and documents, we will fill up other mandatory documents and submit them on your behalf.
Once the application is filed, it may take 7 to 10 business days to get the approval.
After the approval, your FSSAI License will be issued and we will send you the online food license through Email.
The physical license will later arrive at your address by courier within 3-4 business days.
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, commonly known as FSSAI is a legal authority offering food licenses to the Indian Food Business Operators (FBO). To ensure food quality, the FBOs need to follow the rules and regulations as set by FSSAI.
Moreover, in order to run a food business in India, an FBO needs an FSSAI license or registration which may vary due to several factors such as production scale, nature of business, type of operations, and so on. Once a business is registered with FSSAI, a 14-digit unique number is generated and the business needs to print this number on their food packages.
FSSAI registration is basically a food safety certificate that ensures the security of food products. Every type of FBO, including manufacturers, traders, grocery shops, restaurants, and so on can apply for the FSSAI registration. Furthermore, it also gives us a surety that the food we are consuming has passed several quality checks and is safe for consumption. This also reduces the risks of adulteration, substandard products.
